Household goods
Most apartments/houses are furnished but we have found that the lounge room furniture is very sparse most apartments have comfy sofa, a coffee table, rug and a TV but that is all! as you will see if you look at the photos of our apartment. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Naylorsabroad/ We knew this before we came and had a container so we brought a couple of IKEA flat packed POÄNG chairs with us. (There's no IKEA here). The kitchen ware is restricted to the number of people the apartment/house is for and you don’t get a coffee mug more ! However there are a number of cheap shops here that you can get your kitchen ware from but if there is something you use a lot bring it with you, potato mashers are thin on the ground there.
If you’re not bringing over a container when you get here once you decide on a place before you move in don't hesitate to tell your agent exactly what extra you need in the place. They should get it for you. There are usually people leaving and selling stuff on the Geoje Flea Market Facebook page so you can pick up furniture and then resell when you leave. Most things from home are more expensive here, if you can get them at all. These are some of the things that are either nowhere to be found or expensive so bring with you that have been mentioned in posts.
